Gazex Meeting

Placer County will be hosting a second town hall meeting to discuss the Gazex avalanche mitigation system operated along Alpine Meadows Road. The meeting will be Saturday, December 7, from 1-4 p.m. at the former fire station above Commons Beach in Tahoe City. The meeting is planned to share information and receive feedback on the following:

·   Winter 2019 noise and vibration monitoring results (including a subsequent expert peer review)

·   Alpine Meadows resident and property owners survey results

·   Changes to Winter 2020 avalanche mitigation operations
